Located atop the Ingleside section of Holyoke, overlooking the Connecticut River, Mount Saint Vincent Care Center is designed to make our residents feel right at home.

Our residents enjoy a spacious dining room with lovely views, an activities center, two flower gardens, a patio area, a library and a peaceful chapel that offers opportunities for socialization and reflection.

To keep our residents mentally and physically active, Mount Saint Vincent Care Center also offers an extensive recreational program that includes fun and challenging activities.

Restorative Care

A strong emphasis is focused on restorative care at Mount Saint Vincent Care Center. Each resident’s condition is thoroughly assessed and evaluated to meet the current and changing needs that may occur. Progress is monitored on a regular basis and decisions for future treatment are based on the resident’s own physician’s recommendations and consultation with the resident and his/her family members.

For those who have completed the acute phase of rehabilitation care following an operation, accident or illness, every effort is made to help a patient regain the highest level of recovery possible using advanced rehabilitation, restorative care and therapy. Our goal is to aid each individual in regaining the skills necessary to function independently and to return to their customary living and, where applicable, work situation.

Physical, occupational and speech therapy are the principal components in the overall curriculum of care offered. Intravenous and infusion therapies are implemented where appropriate.

The Spiritual Care Department is always available to assist residents in meeting their spiritual needs. Individual visits, as well as regular services, are coordinated by the in-house Spiritual Care Director.
