Residents of Saint Luke’s Home can continue to fully participate in life and share their experiences in an environment where their dignity and unique personalities are respected and celebrated.

We offer residential living for women and men who need assistance with activities of daily living, but do not require the services of a skilled nursing facility. Our residents thrive on the structure provided.

Our Home

We are located in Springfield’s beautiful historic district within walking distance of libraries, museums, churches, parks and shops.

Residents may decorate their private rooms with their own furniture, or use furnishings provided by us. A spacious activity area and large dining room provide areas for socialization. Our serene chapel offers residents quiet time for devotion and reflection.

Staying Active

A wide range of social and recreational activities provide stimulation, relaxation and essential opportunities for self-expression, which include discussion groups, coffee hours, festive parties and picnics on the grounds. Residents enjoy the freedom to come and go as they please, enabling them to continue their involvement in the community. In addition, Saint Luke’s Home offers an intergenerational program bringing residents together with local school children.

Saint Luke’s Home also offers residents a Residents' Council led by elected representatives. All residents are encouraged to participate and make suggestions during the group's regular meetings.

Respite Care

Saint Luke’s Home offers respite care or temporary custodial care for elders. Your loved one can take advantage of the full range of services and activities enjoyed by our residents. The facility offers a homelike atmosphere, nursing care and special activities for stays of one month or less in addition to long-term residential stays.
