Board-certified thoracic surgeon Francis J. Podbielski, MD, FACS leads the multidisciplinary Lung Cancer Program at the Sr. Caritas Cancer Center.

Our new multidisciplinary Lung Cancer Program at the Sr. Caritas Cancer Center offers patients the latest diagnostic technology and leading-edge treatment options in one nearby location. Patients and families have access to an entire team of oncology specialists with a broad range of expertise in treating lung and esophageal cancer. Together, we develop an aggressive, coordinated program that takes full advantage of the most advanced care available today including:

  • A skilled surgical team led by Francis J. Podbielski, MD, FACS, a board-certified thoracic surgeon with expertise in the newest surgical techniques and treatments for lung and esophageal cancer
