Mercy Medical Center's Diagnostic Imaging Center is a full-service department offering the following services:

  • X-ray
  • Computed radiology
  • Computerized tomography (CT) scanning
  • Ultrasound
  • Nuclear medicine
  • Positron emission tomography (PET)
  • Hawkeye nuclear medicine
  • Digital mammography
  • Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
  • Cardiovascular interventional radiology


  • The Diagnostic Imaging Center at Mercy Medical Center operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is staffed by approximately 100 technologists and other support personnel. Interpretations are performed by board-certified fellowship-trained radiologists, many of whom have additional certification in their sub-specialty areas, such as neuroradiology, interventional radiology and nuclear medicine.
