 Mercy Medical Center's Diagnostic Imaging Center is a full-service department offering the following services:
X-ray Computed radiology
Computerized tomography (CT) scanning
Ultrasound
Nuclear medicine
Positron emission tomography (PET)
Hawkeye nuclear medicine
Digital mammography
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
Cardiovascular interventional radiology
The Diagnostic Imaging Center at Mercy Medical Center operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is staffed by approximately 100 technologists and other support personnel. Interpretations are performed by board-certified fellowship-trained radiologists, many of whom have additional certification in their sub-specialty areas, such as neuroradiology, interventional radiology and nuclear medicine.
