The Methadone Maintenance Treatment Program offers outpatient methadone maintenance and extended detoxification programs which include daily dosing, weekly individual and mandatory group counseling and random urine drug screenings. Referral to specialized services is available. HIV prevention education, voluntary testing and referral services are also provided. The length of stay in the program varies based on treatment needs. Treatment centers are located at Providence Behavioral Health Hospital in Holyoke and at Mill Street in Springfield.
