|West Springfield, MA--The Mercy Continuing Care Network has announced the relocation of the administrative offices of Mercy Home Care and Mercy Hospice to space on the former campus of Brightside for Families and Children. The site is also the future location of MercyLIFE, a PACE or Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly, which will provide a full range of care designed to keep individuals eligible for nursing home placement healthy, active and residing in the community. This innovative program will incorporate comprehensive care management and population health management to meet the key design elements of health care reform.
A special celebration and Open House event has been scheduled for Monday, June 17 at 12 p.m. The program will include remarks from Daniel P. Moen, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Sisters of Providence Health System; Christopher McLaughlin, Chief Operating Officer of the Mercy Continuing Care Network; Sister Kathleen Popko, SP, President of the Sisters of Providence, and Gregory Neffinger, Mayor of West Springfield. Tours of the new administrative offices of Mercy Home Care and Mercy Hospice will be available and light refreshments will be served.
