Graduate Medical Education

Welcome to the Department of Academic Affairs at Mercy Medical Center.  Our health system offers diverse clinical material in a variety of settings: acute care, behavioral health, outpatient care and community-based care.

If you are a Mercy physician, incoming student, or a prospective student, please feel free to contact us at (413) 748-9021.

Osteopathic Medicine

We are proud to partner with the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine as a clinical campus for its medical students.  Third-year medical students come to Mercy Medical Center for one year and rotate through the core clerkships in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Surgery and Psychiatry. Student didactics consist of weekly interdisciplinary core lectures, as coordinated by the core faculty and presented by the department, with guest lecturers from the medical staff and outside.
